  • Condition: In Victorian times the Bride's Basket was used during the wedding procession to scatter flower petals and afterwards was placed at the couple's table to display the bridal bouquet. The new bride could use it at her new home for little cakes, sweets and fruit when entertaining. It measures 9 inches by 9 inches across and is 9 inches high including the upright handle. The handle swivels to a lower position if desired. This basket is quite ornate in its design with its original darkened patina. Quadruple plated, it is in excellent condition!
