The Old Cities series was created to celebrate ancient Italian cities, enhancing their culture and lifestyles that have profoundly influenced our culture. The first series is dedicated to the ancient cities of Campania: Caserta  |  Herculaneum  |  Paestum  |  Pompeii.
Paestum collection is characterized by a specially designed silver clip that replicates the splendor of the ancient marble columns. The cap and the barrel of these writing instruments are handmade. The material is brown Italian resin, turned by solid bar. The large ring that is on the barrel, reproduces the Temple of Neptune. The ring on the cap shows the (presumed) foundation dates of this city. On the top of the cap, there is a lava stone, a touch of elegance that makes this collection really perfect.
Founded in 1982 by Mario and Antonio Esposito, MARLEN Pens is an Italian company making fine writing instruments. They design their “artisan pens to be different” and master-crafts men, using new forms of art to create special collections.
