Seven Wonders is a Marlen Project which attempts to revive the seven wonders of the Ancient World concept a list of modern wonders. A popularity poll was organized by the private New7Wonders Foundation, with winners announced on July7, 2007 in Lisbon. The winners: Chichen Itza, Christ the Reedemer, Colosseum, Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, Petra, Taj Mahal. And Marlen intended to create and reiforce the intercultural exchange with the realization of a prestigiuos set of just 77 pieces in fountain dedicated to these incredible monuments (for any single “Wonders”). Marlen created a special pen for each place of those, in black resin, silver and precious shaded celluloid, which depicts the Wonder in the large central band of its barrel, in silver.
